"I took twenty years to finish this piece. Sort of. I started it twenty years ago and just took it back up in 2020. It features both of my daughters and the sons of our friends. We were visiting their cottage on Lake Clear. On their lane, called Teedle Run, there is a beautiful big bolder in the middle of a stand of birch. The kids were playing there when I took the images. Note that the picture is split down the left side with a channel made of Birch bark. So it is also a diptych. Look at the detail pictures here to see some of the treatments used."
