"I did this painting while looking at a sunset while visiting my sisters cottage. I was struck by the weird colours in the sky, then realized it was due to the huge climate change fires happening in the US this year. I used the birch as a guide for the various colours. Also I used beeswax as a polish for the final touch on this piece."
