"At Round Lake in 2017 I asked one of my daughters friends to pose as a dead Tom Thomson. It was on the exact day of Tom's death 100 years earlier on July 8, 1917. This photo shoot took place at a lake that Tom T. enjoyed many times - near Algonquin Park. I included some clear cut stumps in the background - as Thomson would have hated the huge strip cutting that is now allowed to go on in his beloved old park"
