"My brother found this evocative puzzle in a second hand store near Ottawa U. I mounted it on a board and painted it to match the complicated background. The dissonance between the sweet girl holding up flowers and the war in the distance are kind of what I am feeling these days. So many people who are so profoundly uncurious about what is happening around them.The city in the distance is under bombing and wicked phosphorus munitions. This is what has been happening daily in Gaza, now Iran and Lebanon. I am always thinking of the people under these horrors. I pray for humanitarian relief and justice as we witness relentless, and unpunished War Crimes. Free Palestine, No to Apartheid."
