Eric Walker's “painted construction works” depict urban landscapes, aerial perspectives and stylized architecture.

This highly respected artist is a graduate of the prestigious Nova Scotia College of Art and Design and now calls Ottawa home. He has received senior artist awards from the Canada Council and Ontario Arts Council.

“Eric is an artist's artist, but he is also beloved by discerning art collectors," says Cube Gallery curator, Don Monet. "He is one of those deep and thoughtful people who are engaged in massive ideas.  He makes works that are, at first blush,  taciturn which then explode into your consciousness as singularly brilliant.”

Walker’s work is widely collected both privately and in public holdings such as the Beaverbrook Gallery, the Department of Foreign Affairs and International Trade, Canada Council Art Bank, the Art Gallery of Nova Scotia, The Rooms, the Redpath private family collection, the Owens Art Gallery, Dalhousie University Art Gallery, Carleton University Art Gallery and the City of Ottawa.

Many of his works are on display at embassies and consulates in Europe and the United States.
